Jack Archer and Alex Weston, visiting from Australia, joined Slovenia Bike Tours for a self-guided Jack Archer and Alex Weston joined us all the way from Australia for a self-guided cycling in Slovenia. Starting in the Julian Alps and finishing at the Adriatic Sea, their tour took them through mountain passes, wine country, and coastal towns—showing just how much variety this small country has to offer.
“Thanks to Nejc and the team at Slovenia Bike Tours for providing us with such a unique way to experience the beauty of Slovenia – from the Alps to the Adriatic, and everything in between! From the first email, through to the updates and adjustments throughout the trip we knew we were in good hands. Nejc was extremely flexible with our needs, as well as professional and personable. We would highly recommend to anyone considering a cycling holiday in Europe!”
Even though the weather got tricky midway through the trip, Alex and Jack continued apace and were rewarded with some majestic sights on Vrsic Pass in the fog, and also with completely different colour tones of Soca River Valley. And for the end of self-guided cycling trip in Slovenia, the sun came out and they finished their trip with a jump into the Adriatic Sea. Well deserved!
We’re glad we could support Jack and Alex throughout their journey and help shape a cycling experience that matched their pace and preferences. It was a pleasure working with them, and we’re always here for the next ride—whether it’s across mountains, vineyards, or down by the sea.
