We have some wonderful news to share: Grilc Tours d.o.o., the company behind Slovenia Bike Tours, has been named Best Cycling Holiday Tour Operator 2026 – Slovenia in the Balkan Enterprise Awards, organised by EU Business News.
We have received the award notification from the organisers and are delighted to share the news with our guests, friends and local partners. More information will follow, and we will update this article with a link to the official winner announcement once it is published.
A thank you to everyone who rides with us
Every tour begins with a conversation: where would you like to ride, what kind of day do you enjoy on a bike, and what would make this holiday special for you? Turning those answers into a journey is the part of our work we enjoy most.
Some guests come for the mountain scenery of the Julian Alps and the Soča Valley. Others look forward to quieter vineyard roads, coastal rides or time around the table after a day outdoors. Whether they choose a self-guided adventure or a private guided tour, our aim is to make the planning and local logistics feel straightforward, leaving more time to enjoy Slovenia.
This award is also an opportunity to thank the people who make those journeys possible: our guests for trusting us with their holidays, and the accommodation hosts, bike suppliers, drivers, guides and local producers who help us welcome them.
Looking ahead to more rides together
We are grateful for this recognition and look forward to welcoming returning riders and new guests in 2027. Thank you for being part of the Slovenia Bike Tours story.
